Conditions of Entry
Venues NSW is responsible for the care, control and management of its venues and their surrounding precincts (collectively, "the venue and precinct").
By entering the scheduled lands, comprising any venue operated and managed by Venues NSW and any surrounding precinct, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below together with those referred to on your ticket.
You are entering licensed premises. Venues NSW reserves the right to refuse entry or evict:
- Any person who is intoxicated.
- Any person behaving in a disorderly manner.
- Any person that does not have a valid form of entry or who is unauthorised to be on or within the venues or precincts.
- Any person who refuses to submit to security screening upon entering a venue precinct or inside a venue, as directed by an authorised officer of Venues NSW.

The items listed above are the standard restricted items for Venues NSW venues and precincts and are subject to change without notice. Specific events may be subject to additional restrictions at the direction of the venue hirer or sporting code. Please refer to the relevant event page and your pre-event emails for event-specific information.
Information for Patrons
- Patrons, staff and visitors should be aware that sporting equipment such as footballs or cricket balls may be kicked, thrown or struck from the playing field or arena into the seating areas at any time. Venues NSW is not responsible for any injury, illness or damage caused by balls being kicked, thrown or struck into the seating areas.
- Umbrellas are allowed into Venues NSW venues but cannot be opened in the seating bowl while an event is in progress. Certain events or ticket types may not allow umbrellas to be brought into Venues NSW venues. Please refer to the event page and your pre-event emails for event-specific information.
- Cloaking facilities may not be available.
- Children must be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult while in the venue or precinct.
- Children aged three years and under are permitted to sit on the lap of a ticket holder. They do not require a separate ticket provided they do not occupy a seat. One child per adult.
- Other than ambulances and emergency transport, all vehicles including bicycles are to give way to pedestrians.

General Restrictions and Conditions
- In order to protect the safety of all patrons, Venues NSW reserves the right to vary security screening requirements and prohibit any item(s) at its discretion and without notice.
- All employees of Venues NSW and NSW Police are authorised to enforce among other things the Sporting Venues Authorities Regulations (Regulations), House Policy for the Service of Alcohol (House Policy) and relevant parts of the Sporting Venues Authorities Act 2020 (Act).
- Patrons, staff and visitors who breach the Regulations, House Policy and/or Act may be evicted from the venue and precinct and receive an infringement notice(s).
- All persons’ movements upon entering the venue and precinct will be subject to monitoring by security systems including but not limited to CCTV and body worn video cameras.
- For safety and security purposes, facial recognition technology and body worn video cameras are in operation in the venue precinct in combination with CCTV. These and other technologies may record audio, film and/or photograph you to identify whether you pose a risk to others and/or the venue precinct, or that you are not authorised to enter. By entering the venue precinct, you agree to the use of these technologies in accordance with our Security Policy.
- Venues NSW venues are non-smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes, is permitted in designated areas only at Accor Stadium.
- It is an offence to purchase alcohol for (or supply alcohol to) minors or persons who are intoxicated.
- Persons supplying alcohol to minors or intoxicated persons will be reported to NSW Police.
- Persons entering the playing area of any venue or other areas closed to the public, in breach of our Regulations, will be prosecuted.
- The throwing of any object, or the use of any item as a projectile, onto the playing area or into the seating bowl is strictly prohibited; patrons may be evicted, banned and/or prosecuted.
- Venues NSW is not liable or responsible for any loss, damage or theft to or from any person(s), vehicle and/or goods or equipment however caused, and any consequential damages or loss, including economic loss arising from such loss, damage or theft.
- Persons entering the venue precincts are reminded not to leave personal items such as bags unattended. Unattended bags will be considered suspicious items until proven otherwise.
- Patrons, staff and visitors must respect all others and not engage in any conduct directed towards any player, match official or any other patron, staff member or visitor which offends, insults, humiliates, intimidates, threatens, disparages or vilifies that person on the basis of that person’s race, colour, religion, sexuality, nationality or ethnic background.
- All national and recognised sporting team jerseys are permitted at Venues NSW venues and precincts. On occasion, NSW Government agencies may suspend permission where known intel or other information (as raised in planning meetings) requires temporary restrictions.
- Patrons, staff and visitors are not permitted to wear or otherwise display any unauthorised commercial (ambush marketing), political or other offensive logos or signage.
- Patrons, staff and visitors must provide government issued photo identification to an authorised officer upon request.
- Unauthorised soliciting or surveying in venue precincts is not permitted.
- No alcohol can be taken from any venue or from the venue precinct.
- Vehicle entry to the venue precinct is by the express approval of Venues NSW management only.
- Venues NSW reserves the right to inspect and search any vehicle entering or leaving the venue precinct.
- Vehicles which are not parked in allocated parking spaces or impede access to safety related equipment on the venue precinct will receive an infringement notice; in addition, the vehicle may be towed without notice at the cost of the vehicle owner.
- By entering the venue and precinct, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
- Additional event-specific conditions of entry may be applicable and enforced at the direction of the venue hirer and/or sporting code(s), or by Venues NSW for any given event.
- Venues NSW venues are non-smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes.
